This full-time contract opportunity runs from September 3rd, 2026, through June 23rd, 2027, and features a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (32.5 hours per week). Currently, there are two roles available—perfect for experienced nurses who are passionate about school health and committed to fostering a nurturing environment.

As the sole nurse on-site, you will be the primary point of care for students in your assigned building, backed by an advisory support team if needed. Your expertise will make a real difference each day, providing care, education, and reassurance to children and their families.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey RN or CSN license required
• Previous school nurse experience preferred
• Familiarity with Genesis charting system is a strong advantage
• Ability to function confidently as the only nurse in the building
• Experience working with preschool, elementary, or middle school populations is ideal
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering comprehensive health services to students and staff
• Managing medication administration, first aid, and emergency care
• Maintaining accurate health records using the Genesis system
• Promoting health education and wellness initiatives
• Collaborating with school staff, parents, and the district advisory team
