School Registered Nurse (RN) in Monument, CO

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day health services for students across grades K–12, addressing everything from routine first aid to coordinated care for chronic conditions. This isn’t a 1:1 assignment—you’ll provide leadership, guidance, and direct clinical care for the whole school community.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active RN license, in good standing
• Previous experience in K–12 or school-based nursing highly valued
• Confidence managing health emergencies and supporting the holistic well-being of students
• Ability to communicate clearly with children, staff, and families
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions

Role Highlights & Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and first aid, and manage student health plans
• Maintain accurate health records in accordance with applicable laws and policies
• Respond promptly to accidents, injuries, and urgent health needs during school hours
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student success
• Provide health education and promote wellness throughout the school
• Monday–Friday, regular school hours (approx. 7:30am–4:00pm), 40 hours per week
