Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in California
• Experience in school nursing or a similar pediatric healthcare setting is preferred
• Ability to clear a criminal background check and TB risk assessment within 60 days prior to your first day
• Demonstrated knowledge of medication administration and health office protocols
• Commitment to mandated reporting requirements for child abuse under California law

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily health office operations, ensuring a safe and caring environment for students
• Administer student medications according to school policies and medical guidelines
• Conduct California state-mandated hearing and vision screenings for required grade levels
• Provide first aid, manage health emergencies, and communicate effectively with staff and families regarding student wellbeing
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with all regulatory and district reporting requirements
