School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Moreno Valley, California

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing (California)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Ability to complete and clear a criminal background check and TB risk assessment within 60 days before starting
• Familiarity with California mandated child abuse reporter responsibilities
• Organized and reliable, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support the school health office with a variety of nursing functions
• Administer medications and provide care for routine and urgent student health needs
• Conduct state-mandated hearing and vision screenings for required grade levels
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Collaborate with school staff and communicate regularly with families regarding students’ health needs
