Qualifications and Desired Background:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience working with pediatric populations or in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Capacity to respond confidently and compassionately in medical emergencies
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and support staff
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and perform necessary first aid and emergency interventions
• Develop, maintain, and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic health conditions or special needs
• Liaise with staff and families to ensure a coordinated approach to student health and wellness
• Monitor student immunizations and maintain accurate health records in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
