Qualifications and Desired Background:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Comfortable working independently and as part of an educational team
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care, first aid, and health screenings to students and staff
• Manage and dispense prescribed medications according to school protocols
• Develop and implement care plans for students with chronic or acute health needs
• Serve as a resource for health education and wellness promotion on campus
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Work with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to coordinate care
• Participate in crisis response and emergency preparedness
• Support adherence to public health guidelines within the school environment
