Two Registered Nurse opportunities are now open—one as a Residential RN and another as a Day Habilitation RN. These contract positions involve supporting individuals in both residential and day habilitation programs, ensuring that each person receives safe, coordinated, and thorough care.
Your expertise will help guide interdisciplinary teams, keep documentation on track, and provide ongoing support for health needs within a dynamic school environment. Both positions are located in the New Windsor, Wappingers Falls, and Hyde Park areas, with contract dates running from July 6, 2026, through June 26, 2027.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Experience in a school or community health setting strongly preferred
- Strong skills in medication administration and documentation management
- Ability to manage caseloads across diverse age groups
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate care for individuals in assigned programs
- Support and participate in Annual Life Plan Meetings
- Monitor medication administration and ensure thorough follow-up (med pour)
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in Med Books
- Collaborate with care teams to deliver high-quality, compliant nursing support
- Monitor and respond to ongoing health needs of individuals served
Available Roles:
- Residential Registered Nurse: Monday–Friday, flexible daytime hours, 40-hour workweek, itinerant travel between facilities.
- Day Habilitation Registered Nurse: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM, 36.25-hour workweek at day habilitation sites.
