Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Current and valid RN license
Experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare is a plus
Experienced with G - Tubes
Experienced with Trachs
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Strong communication skills to liaise with students, parents, and educators
Ability to work independently and handle emergencies with calm and confidence
Familiarity with individualized healthcare plans and documentation processes
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to two elementary aged students within a SPED classroom
Assist with G - Tube Duties
Assist with Trach Duties
Promote student health education and preventive measures within the school
Track and manage health records in compliance with regulations
Collaborate with school personnel and outside care providers as necessary to support wellness
