School Registered Nurse (RN) in Norristown, PA

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN, LPN/LVN, or Certified School Nurse (CSN) licensure required
• Demonstrated experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus
• Strong assessment, triage, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and parents
• Compassion and a calm demeanor when supporting children and adolescents
• Capable of maintaining confidentiality and accurate health records

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide daily health support to students, including first aid, medication administration, and routine care
• Work closely with the full-time nurse to address student needs and manage chronic conditions
• Assist with implementing individualized health plans and monitoring students with medical requirements
• Promote a healthy school environment by educating students on hygiene and wellness practices
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies according to school protocols
• Support the documentation and reporting of health incidents and mandated screenings
