Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, valid Registered Nurse licensure in South Carolina
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
• Demonstrated experience in pediatric care
• Proven ability to manage tracheostomies (Trachs)
• Competence with G-tube management, including suctioning and tube feeding
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Able to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care at an elementary school site, fostering a safe and healthy environment for students
• Handle daily office nursing tasks such as wound care, vital sign monitoring, and medication administration
• Consistently document, monitor, and communicate student health status to families and team members
• Collaborate with the broader educational team to promote student achievement and well-being
