School Registered Nurse (RN) in North Hollywood, CA

Work closely with a diverse caseload in both specialized and general education settings, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all.

Key Qualifications:

• Active California RN license required
• Credentialed School Nurse certification is a must-have
• Prior experience in a school nursing or pediatric environment is strongly preferred
• Comfortable working independently across multiple sites
• Skilled in developing and implementing individualized care plans
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with staff, parents, and healthcare partners

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care and daily health management for medically complex students during ESY at a dedicated site
• Support general education students attending summer programs across multiple school locations, addressing health concerns as needed
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and respond to emergencies calmly and efficiently
• Maintain accurate and timely health records in compliance with local and state regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student care
• Serve as a health resource and advocate for students, families, and school staff

Assignment Details:

• Contract position covering scheduled dates between June 11 and July 29 (see below for specific dates)
• ESY program: 7am–2pm on June 11, June 26, June 29, July 6, July 7, July 13, and July 14
• General Education: 7am–2pm on July 20, July 24, July 27, and July 29
