Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active RN license in Nevada
• Previous experience as a School Nurse or within pediatric care strongly preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Familiarity with IEP/504 plan processes and healthcare documentation in educational settings
• Strong communication skills, compassion, and the ability to adapt to diverse situations
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer basic first aid, emergency care, and routine medication to students, adhering to prescribed policies and care plans
• Assess and address healthcare needs for students with chronic conditions or disabilities
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized health plans
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Serve as a resource for health education, wellness promotion, and disease prevention across the school community
• Respond promptly to health-related incidents and liaise with parents or guardians as needed
