Desired qualifications and experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Washington State
• At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
• Familiarity with student health plans, medication administration, and immunization compliance
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, faculty, and families
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies
• Working knowledge of state laws and best practices for school health services

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage student health needs during scheduled days each week
• Administer medications and provide first aid as needed
• Assess and respond to student illnesses or injuries, adhering to school and district protocols
• Develop, update, and maintain individual healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions
• Partner with educators and staff to promote health education and preventative care on campus
• Maintain detailed and accurate health records and documentation
• Serve as a resource for families regarding student health concerns and referrals
