Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active RN (Registered Nurse) license in Mississippi (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working with children or in school settings is highly valued

• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding best practices in student care

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students with acute and chronic health conditions
• Develop and implement individualized health plans
• Administer medications and provide emergency care as needed
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with district and regulatory requirements
• Promote a healthy and safe school environment through education and advocacy
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents on health-related matters
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student accommodations when requested
