Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active, unencumbered RN license in Washington State
- Current CPR certification
- Prior experience in a pediatric, school, or community health setting strongly preferred
- Ability to respond effectively to health emergencies, administer medications, and document care
- Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Capacity to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to adapt to the needs of various age ranges and abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care, first aid, and medication administration to students
- Manage chronic conditions and develop individualized health care plans
- Conduct screenings, immunization tracking, and health education
- Address healthcare needs in accordance with district guidelines and state regulations
- Serve as a liaison between families, healthcare providers, and school staff
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records
- Support a safe, healthy environment that fosters learning for all students
