This school-based part-time travel role offers the flexibility of working 20 hours per week, starting July 1 and running through July 31, 2026. With on-site schedules available—including morning and night school shifts—you’ll provide meaningful, district-wide support and ensure student health and well-being across school buildings.

Qualifications:

• Active NJ school nurse licensure and current certifications required
• Previous school-based nursing experience (not limited to clinical settings)
• Must be able to work on-site and be available immediately
• Fingerprinting for both agency and district (required)
• Tuberculosis screening and physical exam necessary
• Only candidates with completed credentials considered due to immediate need

Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care and health support to students and staff throughout the school day
• Manage health records, emergency situations, and preventative care
• Cover assigned shifts (8:30 AM–12:30 PM or night hours)
• Serve as a resource to students, parents, and staff across multiple school buildings
• Ensure compliance with state and district health practices
