Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in New York State
• Experience as an RN, LPN, or LVN in a school or pediatric environment
• Familiarity with New York State Health requirements for school-aged children
• Confident performing routine health screenings, tests, and associated reporting
• Adaptability to work with diverse student populations ages 3-18
• Commitment to an onsite only role, supporting in-person learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver day-to-day nursing care, first aid, and medication administration
• Support health plans for students with chronic or acute needs
• Conduct vision, hearing, and other state-mandated screenings
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records and reporting in compliance with district and state requirements
• Serve as a resource to school staff and families on health-related matters
• Respond effectively to health emergencies and adapt quickly within a school environment
