Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies and administer first aid
• Proficient in maintaining accurate health records and adhering to state and federal regulations
• Commitment to safeguarding the health and confidentiality of students

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat student illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions during the school day
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with special health needs
• Administer medications and monitor immunization compliance in accordance with school policies
• Conduct health screenings and participate in health education initiatives
• Serve as a liaison between students, families, faculty, and outside healthcare providers
• Document all interventions and maintain up-to-date records per legal and district requirements
