School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Oro Grande, California

A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to support student health services at a K-12 school in Oro Grande, CA. The ideal candidate will be credentialed and experienced in school nursing and case management, providing vital healthcare support for students throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and monitoring student health plans and medical needs onsite,
• Supporting students receiving virtual therapy by coordinating with external Voco contractors,
• Providing case management services to ensure continuity of care and compliance with health regulations,
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed,
• Collaborating with educators and families to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with school nursing certification preferred,
• Experience in school nursing and case management strongly desired,
• Ability to work full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) throughout the school year, with potential for extended school year (ESY) support,
• Strong communication and organizational skills,
• Comfort working onsite to directly assist students during virtual therapy sessions.

This position offers a contract through the end of the school year, with a high chance of renewal based on performance and program needs. Serving in a supportive role within the school setting, the RN will be an integral contributor to student well-being.
