Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Maine (or eligible for reciprocation)
• Previous nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics, community health, or school settings
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond calmly in emergencies
• Compassion and a team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct care to students for illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions
• Administer medications and conduct health screenings as needed
• Maintain accurate health records, documentation, and reports
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and healthcare providers regarding student health plans
• Participate in the development of individualized healthcare plans and emergency response procedures
• Promote health education and preventive care among students and staff
• Respond to urgent medical situations on campus with professional judgment and care
