Registered Nurse School Setting - Osakis, MN

Qualifications:

• Active RN license or current certification as a Certified School Nurse (CSN)
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or public health setting strongly preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and triage skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing needs in a school setting

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, first aid, and health screenings to students and staff
• Develop and implement care plans for students with chronic health conditions or special needs
• Administer medications and treatments according to physicians’ orders and district policies
• Maintain accurate health records and prepare required reports
• Serve as a resource on health and wellness topics for students, parents, and staff
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate with outside medical personnel when necessary
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment through health education
