• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state
• Recent experience delivering care in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
• Knowledge of best practices in school health and chronic disease management
• Proficiency in emergency response and first aid for children and adolescents
• Strong communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and school staff
• Current certifications in CPR and First Aid
• Ability to manage confidential health information professionally
• RN Venita Renewal completed (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and address the health needs of students, including medication administration, care for chronic conditions, and first aid for injuries or illness
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents to design health plans for students with medical needs
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices through education and school-wide wellness initiatives
• Maintain accurate health records, immunization documentation, and compliance with state health regulations
• Lead response and coordination during student outbreaks, emergencies, and school safety drills
• Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community healthcare providers
