School Registered Nurse (RN) in Oxford, NC

This full-time contract role runs from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm, offering a consistent weekday schedule for professionals seeking a rewarding position within education.

This position centers on providing dedicated 1:1 nursing care for a 5th grade student with complex medical needs, including gtube feeding, ongoing respiratory monitoring, and support for a young learner who is non-verbal and nearly blind. You’ll be a compassionate presence and a critical lifeline, ensuring the student’s safety, well-being, and access to the school experience.

What You'll Bring:

• Active RN license and good standing in the state
• Experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or similar 1:1 clinical environments
• Proficiency with gtube feedings and respiratory care protocols
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency or urgent situations
• Excellent communication skills tailored to working with students, educators, and caregivers
• Patience, empathy, and sensitivity when supporting students with multiple disabilities
