Registered Nurse School Setting - Paterson, NJ

A full-time Registered Nurse opportunity is available to provide dedicated, one-on-one nursing care for a 7th-grade student in a K-12 school setting. This contract position offers a structured schedule, working onsite during school hours, with a focus on delivering compassionate and skilled nursing support tailored to the student's medical needs.

Location: Paterson, NJ
Schedule: Full time, 30-32 hours per week, 8:45 AM to 2:00 PM, onsite
Duration: Contract position through June 22, 2026
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized, one-on-one nursing care to a male 7th grade student
• Manage medical needs including asthma care, g-tube feedings, catheter care, toileting, and diapering assistance
• Monitor and respond to seizure activity with appropriate intervention
• Collaborate with school staff and healthcare professionals to ensure safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with school protocols

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged children in a nursing capacity
• Demonstrated skills in asthma management and seizure care
• Proficiency in performing g-tube feedings, catheter care, diapering, and toileting assistance
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality and professionalism
