Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to medical emergencies
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including assessments, first aid, and managing chronic conditions or medications
• Respond to health emergencies and collaborate with other professionals for student care
• Maintain accurate health records and stay compliant with state guidelines
• Educate students, staff, and families about health management and preventive care
• Support the creation of care plans for students with specific medical needs
• Communicate proactively with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student health
