School Registered Nurse | Paterson, New Jersey

Make a meaningful impact in school communities as a Registered Nurse supporting students and staff throughout an entire district. This full-time contract opportunity runs from now until June 25, 2027, covering 35 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–3:15 PM). With two openings available, you’ll join a professional network of school-based RNs dedicated to promoting well-being and safety across multiple campuses.

Key Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey School Nurse RN licensure required
• Minimum of one year of recent school-based RN experience
• Comfortable providing care district-wide and adapting to different school environments
• Skilled at managing caseloads and capable of overseeing entire school buildings
• Reliable transportation is a must; punctuality and proximity to the area strongly preferred
• Ability to complete onboarding requirements: TB test, physical, and fingerprinting for both agency and district
• LPN candidates will not be considered

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality healthcare services to students and staff throughout the district
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for diverse student populations
• Act as a health resource, advocate, and liaison between families and educational teams
• Respond quickly to medical emergencies and coordinate care for chronic conditions
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
