This contract opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse with previous school or pediatric experience who thrives in dynamic environments. You’ll engage with students one-on-one and as a floating nurse, adapting to varied daily needs—and bus ride duties may be included.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Previous experience in school-based nursing or similar pediatric settings
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Flexibility to manage 1:1 assignments, float across different situations as needed, and accompany students on school transportation

Duties Include:

• Providing direct care to students, including medication administration, emergency response, and monitoring of health status
• Supporting students as a 1:1 nurse, delivering individualized care as directed by healthcare plans
• Serving as a floating nurse to cover various health needs throughout the school
• Maintaining thorough and accurate health records
• Collaborating with educators and other staff to promote safe, healthy learning environments
• Educating students and staff on health topics and best practices
• Accompanying students on school buses when required, ensuring safety and care during transit

• End Date: 6.11.2027
