School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Pawtucket, Rhode Island

Qualifications:

• Active RN or CSN license in Rhode Island
• Previous school nurse or pediatric experience is strongly preferred
• Up-to-date CPR/BLS certification
• Strong skills in assessment, triage, and medication administration
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Flexibility and dedication to student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and operate a self-contained health office within the school
• Provide direct care to students experiencing illness or injury
• Administer medications according to physician and parental instructions
• Document visits, incidents, and outcomes accurately
• Respond promptly to health-related emergencies
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student needs
