Qualifications:
- Active RN or CSN license in Rhode Island
- Previous school nurse or pediatric experience is strongly preferred
- Up-to-date CPR/BLS certification
- Strong skills in assessment, triage, and medication administration
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Flexibility and dedication to student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate a self-contained health office within the school
- Provide direct care to students experiencing illness or injury
- Administer medications according to physician and parental instructions
- Document visits, incidents, and outcomes accurately
- Respond promptly to health-related emergencies
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student needs
