Registered Nurse School Setting - Pawtucket, RI

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN License in the state of Rhode Island
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
• Knowledge of seizure protocols and emergency response procedures
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with staff, students, and families
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Strong observation and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing care for a student attending school two days a week (Wednesdays & Fridays, 7:30am - 2:00pm)
• Monitor health status during classroom instruction, on-campus activities, and off-campus community outings or work-based learning
• Administer first aid and medication as needed, following medical protocols
• Respond swiftly and calmly to seizure emergencies, ensuring proper care and safety
• Collaborate with educators and other support staff to create a positive, inclusive environment
• Communicate consistently with guardians and school personnel regarding health updates
