Qualifications and Desired Background:

  • Active RN license required
  • Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Previous exposure to wheelchair assistance and care
  • Comfort with g-tubes; prior experience highly valued
  • Ventilator care experience preferred, though not mandatory
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
  • Compassion and patience in one-on-one settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care to two high school students in a classroom environment
  • Oversee and assist with g-tube feedings and health protocols
  • Monitor student well-being and respond swiftly to health concerns or emergencies
  • Support mobility, daily living activities, and any specialized care as required
