School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Perris, California

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential required
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic health conditions
• Develop and maintain Individualized Health Care Plans (IHCPs) for students with special medical needs
• Conduct health screenings, evaluate immunization records, and promote wellness initiatives
• Serve as a resource for health education for students, staff, and families
• Participate in student support teams and contribute to the development of health-related policies
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
