Key Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in Colorado
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to assess, triage, and respond to a variety of student health needs
• Compassionate, patient-focused attitude

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Administer first aid and routine medical care to students and staff
• Manage and dispense medications according to prescribed plans
• Maintain up-to-date health records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to develop health plans for students with chronic conditions or special needs
• Educate students on wellness practices, hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention
• Monitor and respond to emergent health situations, providing crisis intervention as needed
