Registered Nurse School Setting in Piedmont, SC

Step into a rewarding opportunity working directly with a high school student as a one-on-one Registered Nurse for the 2026-2027 school year. Your nursing expertise will be vital in ensuring the student’s health and well-being throughout the school day and during transportation to and from school.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations preferred
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Comfortable providing one-on-one support and fostering a positive environment
• Capable of performing health-related procedures as needed throughout the school day
• Willingness to ride the bus with the student to ensure safety during transport

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized nursing care and monitoring for the student throughout the school day, including assistance with daily living activities and any scheduled medical interventions
• Ride the bus to and from school to maintain support during transport
• Communicate regularly with school staff and caregivers regarding the student’s health status and needs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
• Respond calmly and effectively in case of health-related emergencies

Position Details and Highlights:

• Contract assignment for the 2026-2027 academic year
• 1:1 setting with a high school student
• Approximately 30 hours per week
• Wednesdays off each week, as the student does not attend school on these days
