Registered Nurse School Setting - Pittsford, NY

Desired Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
• Previous experience in schools or pediatrics is a plus, but not required
• Exceptional communication, clinical assessment, and organizational aptitude

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver general nursing care to middle school students, supporting their daily health needs
• Assess and address student illnesses, injuries, and other concerns that arise during the school day
• Administer medications and required treatments in alignment with physician directives and school district protocols
• Maintain detailed records of student health visits, medication administration, and required documentation
• Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to advance student wellness and educational participation
• Provide timely, appropriate response in emergency medical situations
