School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Plainfield, New Jersey

This contract position runs from September 1, 2026, to July 22, 2027, offering a consistent, full-time schedule without evening or weekend shifts—Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 2:45pm. Key Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Prior experience in pediatric and/or psychiatric nursing
• Ability to assess and provide care to students ages K-12
• Demonstrated skill in relationship building with both students and colleagues
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Experience supporting children with emotional regulation difficulties is a plus

Core Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments to students during the school day
• Conduct thorough post-restraint evaluations, ensuring student safety and well-being
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student care plans
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Serve as a trusted resource for students, providing nursing care with sensitivity and professionalism
