This contract position runs from September 1, 2026, to July 22, 2027, offering a consistent, full-time schedule without evening or weekend shifts—Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 2:45pm. Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior experience in pediatric and/or psychiatric nursing
- Ability to assess and provide care to students ages K-12
- Demonstrated skill in relationship building with both students and colleagues
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Experience supporting children with emotional regulation difficulties is a plus
Core Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments to students during the school day
- Conduct thorough post-restraint evaluations, ensuring student safety and well-being
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student care plans
- Maintain accurate health records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Serve as a trusted resource for students, providing nursing care with sensitivity and professionalism
