Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Pennsylvania Nursing certification (RN)
- Experience or strong interest in working with adolescents in a school environment
- Solid clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to cultivate a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Offer daily health support, first aid, and care for students across grades 7-12
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure the well-being of the school community
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as needed
- Maintain accurate health records and comply with relevant privacy regulations
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Educate students on relevant health topics and promote healthy lifestyle practices
