Travel School Registered Nurse | Providence, Rhode Island

A healthcare professional with a background in school nursing is needed to provide dedicated care at a secondary school campus located in Warren, Rhode Island. This role supports student health and wellness throughout the remainder of the school year, ending in mid-June.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the school health room independently, managing day-to-day health issues and emergencies.
• Assess and care for students who report feeling unwell during school hours.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to protocols.
• Collaborate with school staff to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate with parents or guardians as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential.
• Experience working in school or pediatric healthcare settings is preferred.
• Strong assessment, clinical, and medication administration skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
