A health professional is needed to provide essential nursing care within an educational environment. This position requires a Registered Nurse with experience working in schools, bringing both clinical expertise and compassionate support to students and staff throughout the academic year. The role is contract-based and located in Provo, Utah.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct health assessments and provide direct nursing care to students
  • Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and wellness
  • Manage health records according to state and federal regulations
  • Promote health education and illness prevention within the school community
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid as needed

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Utah
  • Prior experience in a school nursing role preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of school health policies and procedures
  • CPR and First Aid certification
