A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with a passion for school health services. This role involves working closely with students at both the preschool and high school levels, offering comprehensive nursing care in an educational setting. The position provides a balance of responsibilities that includes time in a preschool health room as well as dedicated one-on-one support at a high school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide school nursing care in a preschool health room on Mondays and Wednesdays.
  • Offer one-on-one nursing support to a student at the high school on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
  • Administer health assessments, medication, and first aid as required.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with school policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State is required.
  • Previous experience providing 1:1 nursing care with students is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a school team.

Location Details:

  • Position based at a high school located in Puyallup, WA, with responsibilities also in a nearby preschool health room.
  • Schedule: 32.5 hours per week on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY).
