Registered Nurse School Setting - Queen Creek, AZ

The role goes beyond the traditional school nurse setting, offering the chance to help one student throughout their daily routine—from their home in San Tan Valley through their school day and back.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license in Arizona
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and advocacy skills
• Professional demeanor and ability to collaborate with families and educational staff
• Reliable transportation and punctuality for early morning arrivals

Role Responsibilities:

• Arrive at the student’s home each morning at 7:30 a.m.
• Accompany the student on the school bus to ensure safe transit
• Remain with the student throughout the entire school day, providing ongoing nursing support as required
• Ride the bus with the student back home at the close of the day (approximate drop off at 3:15 p.m.; Wednesdays early release, with drop off at 1:35 p.m.)
• Maintain clear, accurate records of care and collaborate with educators and the student's family
• Respond to any medical needs or emergencies promptly and professionally
