Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Recent experience in a school nursing or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to manage routine nursing care, including medication administration and emergency response
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, students, and families
• CPR/AED certification (current and active)
• Compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to student well-being

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and preventive healthcare services to students, responding to medical needs and promoting a healthy school environment
• Administer medications and perform medical procedures in accordance with student care plans
• Document care and maintain accurate health records for all students served
• Support students with chronic conditions, injuries, or acute illnesses, ensuring their full participation in ESY activities
• Respond to urgent health situations with professionalism and prompt action
• Collaborate with teaching staff, school administrators, and families regarding health-related concerns and accommodations
• Foster an inclusive, safe atmosphere where every child feels secure
