Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, triage, and first aid skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • CPR and basic life support certification

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the high-school health room from 7:30am to 2:30pm on school days
  • Provide first aid, minor illness/injury care, and manage medications
  • Support students with chronic health conditions and develop care plans in collaboration with families and staff
  • Maintain accurate records, follow up on referrals, and ensure timely communication with guardians
  • Educate students and staff on basic health and safety practices
  • Respond to health-related emergencies using best nursing practices
