School Registered Nurse (RN) in Rantoul, IL

Take your skills as an RN or LPN to an environment where you can make a significant impact on elementary and middle school students! We're seeking two full-time nurses who are passionate about school-based care and share a commitment to helping children maintain optimal health and wellness during their school day.

You’ll join a supportive, collaborative team and play a key role in providing medical care, health education, and support to students in grades 2-7. Use your clinical expertise in a rewarding setting where each day brings new opportunities to advocate for students’ health and safety.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and valid RN or LPN license
• Experience in a school setting or pediatric care preferred
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Training or interest in legal nurse consulting is a plus
• Compassionate, adaptable, and organized approach to care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer routine and emergency medical care to students and staff
• Manage health records, immunizations, and medication administration in accordance with compliance standards
• Provide health screenings, first aid, and chronic disease management
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student well-being
• Serve as a resource for health education and wellness initiatives
• Document all care provided and maintain accurate student records
