Engage in a meaningful role supporting student health as a Substitute School Nurse for the 2025-2026 academic year in Reading, PA. There are two part-time positions available, providing essential nursing care in a dynamic school environment.

Positions Available:

• Part-Time, 20 hours/week at an elementary school
• Substitute nurse role servicing the broader school district, including accompanying students on field trips

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and health assessments
• Manage student health records and maintain confidentiality
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student well-being
• Respond to health emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
• Participate in health education initiatives and promote wellness among students

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to various school settings
