Seeking Registered Nurses for Substitute School Nurse roles in a K-12 educational setting for the 2025-2026 school year. Two positions available: one part-time position (20 hours per week) at an elementary school and one substitute role covering the school district, including accompanying students on field trips. These assignments are ideal for RNs or Certified School Nurses (CSNs) interested in supporting student health services on a contract basis during the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential
  • Experience or interest in pediatric or school nursing preferred
  • Ability to work independently and handle a range of healthcare needs in an educational environment
  • Flexibility to cover various locations and participate in off-site activities such as field trips

Location:

  • Reading, PA area serving K-12 schools within the district

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide health assessments, emergency care, and daily nursing services to students
  • Administer medication and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with school personnel and parents regarding student health plans
  • Maintain accurate health records and comply with state and federal regulations
