A Substitute Onsite Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Red Wing, Minnesota, supporting a preschool student in a one-to-one setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential nursing care within a school environment, ensuring the health and safety of the student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized nursing care and health services to a preschool student on a one-to-one basis
  • Monitor and document the student’s health status and respond promptly to medical needs or emergencies
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to maintain continuity of care
  • Follow established health and safety protocols within the school setting
  • Serve on-call or PRN (as needed) to cover contractor or district staff absences, call-outs, or no-shows

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations preferred
  • Ability to manage health care needs in a school environment efficiently and compassionately
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with students, families, and school personnel
  • Flexibility to respond on-call or on a PRN basis
