This full-time, on-site position is ideal for a compassionate and skilled RN or LVN who excels at student care and can commit to a consistent weekday schedule throughout the academic year.

In this role, you’ll work directly in a classroom setting at a local high school, helping make a difference in the lives of students with varying needs. You’ll be responsible for supporting three high school students (out of a class of thirteen) with daily care, including feeding, toileting, and assisting with transfer positions. This is a hands-on role where your care and expertise will have an immediate, positive impact.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in Texas
• Completion of required state fingerprinting and background check
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Must not have previously worked for this school district nor have been terminated from any school district (affidavit required during onboarding)
• Professional, reliable, and confident working in a classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care for students, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Effectively support feeding, toileting, and mobility needs as assigned
• Work collaboratively with educators and support staff to create an inclusive classroom experience
• Maintain student health documentation and adhere to district policies
