Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
- Prior experience working in school health settings highly preferred
- Familiarity with care planning, electronic health records, and immunization compliance
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt nursing care to students with acute and chronic health needs
- Administer medications, manage health plans, and respond to student emergencies as required
- Conduct routine health screenings, maintain accurate health records, and support immunization programs
- Partner with educators to implement health education initiatives for students and staff
- Act as a resource for health-related information, supporting a safe and inclusive school environment
