You’ll provide invaluable services at a vibrant school community, caring for a caseload of general education 8th graders and all special education students. Your skills as a licensed Registered Nurse will enhance the health resources available to students so they can thrive in their studies and extracurricular pursuits.

Key Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly desired
• Confident, self-directed, and able to work without direct training or orientation
• Proficient with routine screenings: vision, hearing, scoliosis
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, faculty, and families
• Sensitivity to the needs of both general education and special education populations

Responsibilities:

• Conduct required student health screenings, including vision, hearing, and scoliosis checks
• Deliver general school nursing care and first aid when needed
• Maintain accurate health documentation and records per state and school policies
• Communicate effectively regarding students’ health concerns and collaborate for support plans
• Foster a safe, supportive environment for all students
