An opportunity is available for a dedicated registered nurse to provide essential healthcare support within a school setting in Rochester, MI. This contract position offers full-time hours, typically 35 per week, for the 2026-2027 school year with tentative dates.
Key qualifications and requirements:
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN); Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are not eligible.
- Active Michigan nursing license required.
- Experience in school nursing or similar environments preferred.
- Ability to manage medically fragile students with needs such as lifting, toileting, tracheostomy care, gastrostomy tube (G-tube) feeding, and seizure management.
- Comfortable working with 1:1 student care or small caseloads.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a school community.
