School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Rochester, New Hampshire

Your role will cover the school community now through the Christmas break, working weekday hours from 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Previous work as a school nurse or in pediatric settings preferred
• Ability to respond to a variety of health needs, from routine care to urgent interventions
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team
• CPR and First Aid certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily medical care and address health concerns for elementary-age students and staff
• Triage and respond to injuries, illnesses, and emergencies as needed during school hours
• Administer prescription and over-the-counter medications following school protocols
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate clearly with parents, students, and staff
• Participate in creating a positive and healthy school climate
• Support students with chronic conditions, including diabetes, asthma, allergies, and more
