Registered Nurse School Setting in Rochester, NH

This contract position runs from now through the Christmas break, with consistent weekday hours from 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM. Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Experience in elementary school or pediatric nursing highly valued
• Exceptional communication skills with children, families, and staff
• Ability to remain calm and resourceful in urgent or unexpected situations
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability in a school setting
• Current CPR/AED certification (preferred)

Role responsibilities:

• Delivering daily health care, first aid, and medication administration to students
• Monitoring health conditions and supporting students with chronic illnesses
• Managing health records and ensuring compliance with state regulations
• Responding swiftly to medical emergencies and accidents during school hours
• Collaborating with teachers, counselors, and administrators on student well-being initiatives
• Providing health education and guidance on preventive care to students and staff
